exmark electric pto problem

I appreciate the help yo pros can give this 7 acre homeowner. I have 2000 model lazer z 60 inch with 460 hrs on it. The electric pto does not engage sometimes, especially when it is warm. Any ideas? Also, is there a seat upgrade to improve ride?
