Do any of you guys have a sample of a residential contract you could e-mail me?.I want to see how they are worded somewhat so i can get some ideas on putting one together .I have a great one that i use for commercial accounts that is very detailed ,but I'am wondering how it would differ from a residential one. Thanks (dieman98@yahoo.com)

just keep residential contract simple and easy to read, some home owners will get scared by a big fancy contract save those for your comm sites.

I have a question one step further on this one: Does anyone use any software to produce and fill out contracts? Or estimates/proposals? I've been combing through Lawn Monkey and Clips, and checked out NEBS, but I'm not sure if they have what I was looking for.

Lawn Monkey says I can create 'customized' proposals with their built-in word processor. Well, I can do that with my own word processor if I wanted to. I'm looking for a program that allows me to easily fill in the blanks and do the math involved for me (the way Turbo Tax makes my Schedule C so easy!). NEBS Form Magic Deluxe looks promising for proposals and invoicing, but I don't see anything on contracts. Anyone using this program? Anyone using Clips or LM for proposals and contracts? Can you use them for that?

What I don't want to do is buy several different programs for my business needs. I'd like to consolidate all my forms & records into a single, easy-to-use workspace on my computer so I can measure a job, plug in the numbers, and have a professional-looking proposal and contract ready to fax or deliver in no time flat. Then, I'd like to produce an invoice upon completion using the same program.

Does anyone know of anything that can help us with this? Does any such wonder exist?
