Stihl br-400 blower has been starting hard the last month or so. It's a back-up, we generally use the pb-650 all the time. It mainly starts hard when it's hot, cold starts are ok, but could be better(3 to 6 pulls when cold) ( 6+ when hot). Good fuel, fuel filter is clean, new sparkplug. Mechanic at the dealer where I get a lot of my parts said the coils have been known to break down causing hard starting.Checked spark, appears to be weak, not a nice sharp spark you like to see. Starting to think he is correct, before I drop $50 to $60 on coil, what do you guys think? Thanks

I would get a 7 dollar in line spark tester and see if the spark does get weaker. Make shure your fuel cap is venting properly, check your compression when its cold, and again when its hot.
