Heres a link http://www.gwdhosting.com/compare_our_plans.htm that shows what you get and for how much.

A few questions to those you have websites. Is 25MB enough space? Is a bandwidth of 1000MB enough? 1

0 emails accounts is plenty for me. Looks like a very resonable price.....$40 a year for the hosting and only $10 a year for the domain name.

Am I missing anything. I need to make a decision in the next couple days as to get my web site address sumitted for my yellow page ad.

Thanks
MATT

I use Doteasy at http://www.doteasy.com. Free hosting with 1000mb transfer and 20 mb storage, plus you get 10 email accounts. I have never had a problem with going over the transfer limit, but some others may have some better insight on this than me. You just need to ask yourself how much exposure you think your website will get and that will determine the amount of transfer you need.

Tim.

Hi Envision,

With the hosting plan you mentioned, you don't pay a setup or a monthly fee? Where do they make their money :)

Good question!! Looks like if you already have a domain, they don't make any money, unless the free package is full of bugs and you are forced to upgrade to the next package. Then again, Envision has had no problems to date.

Here is what the privacy policy says:

In our role of delivering targeted advertisements (via email newsletters), Doteasy is the middleman. Advertisers give us an advertisement and tell us the type of audience they want to reach. Doteasy chooses appropriate advertisements to include in the email to be sent to the target audience. In this process, the advertiser never has access to individual account information or any personal member information.

With that being said, I have not received any junk mail from them on my most recent 2 domains that I have hosted with them. The 3rd domain I have hosted with them gets junk mail due to the fact I have signed up for other junk on the internet with that address. Basically, it says they will send you a newsletter but I don't recall receiving them. Like they say, if it sounds too good to be true, it must be. -- but I haven't had any issues. The worst that can happen is that you give them an email address that you don't use very often and they will direct the newsletter to that account.
