Hello Again.....

It's time for the 3rd Free Give Away. The Give Away will be $50 cash, a pair of work gloves (good ones), and a pair of hand pruners courtesy of LawnSite.com.

As with give aways in the past, to be elligible, you must answer the following question. You can only answer the question once.

If there was one person in the Green Industry you could meet, sit down with and share a meal, and ask whatever you want, who would it be and what would some of the questions be? This is a fictional question, so the person you choose can be living or deceased. But please, answer this question seriously.

Thanks for all of your responses and Good Luck!

It would definitley be Jens Jensen. For those who don't know, he was the godfather of landscape architecture, creating city parks, such as Humbolt in Chicago, Dearborn park (Chicago) He designed and installed the landscape at Henry Fords home in Dearborn Michigan. He often worked with Fank Lloyd Wright, and they taught at each others schools.

Questions asked would be things such as what would he do to not only make a beautiful landscape, but also to conserve water. Would he write a set of maintenance insructions for a landscape he designed, so that the grounds crew can maintain the design integrity.
How did he get started in the landscape business.

The person i would like most to meet and talk to would be George Tomah. The most important question i would ask him would be how he keeps the pro fields looking so sweet!

I'd have to say I would like to speak with Donald Ross at #2 in Pinehurst over a cool glass of iced tea. I have a great deal of respect for this man.
