But the truck would be limited after the conversion.

I could think of alot of pros and cons..

We have a guy in our area that has 3 trucks- took bed of- put on a flat bed with a 2' beaver tail- with 5' ramp
He sends three trucks out each with 52" Toro, 44" WB, and 2 push mowers-
He maintains yards right in town where parking is limited- Great Idea

I like the regular truck conversions too shown on other parts of the site.
Converting a regular dump bed to a 6X6 has got to increase the payload capacity. 6x6 duallies!
