I'm from Enfield also. Actuallt that's where I plan to start up. Or maybe Windsor Locks. Are you operating in Enfield?

Don't do wlocks Unless you have a small walk behind and like hills.I use to cover a bigger area but now i'm alot smaller. I think i cover about 6 towns. I live in north Bloomfield now or for about 5 years.
starting in enfield is alot better.

Yes i do enfield. I will have some numbers for you when you start up. Keep in touch.

I know what you're talking about as far as the hills are concerned. My father lives out there. I was thinking with all the commercial sites on 75 and by the airport that would be a good pplace to hit up. But yeah Enfield would be definately better as far as residential goes. Alot of commercial too I suppose. Restaurants galore there. I'll definately let ya know when we start. I won't be out of the Marines until July. Kinda late for the season. But the guy that's going in it with me may start on his own in March. Might be better this way. Build up some accounts so that we can AFFORD paying BOTH of us. We're going Full-time from the get go. We figure it's the best way to do it when it's an option.

Rt 75 can be a killer. Enfield and the somers line 190 side is booming with new better homes, still there will be the cepos but why not.
Yeah start early get your feet wet oh what typr of mowers are you going to use.

John--

We're actually trying to decide on what brand/type of mower/s to buy. I tried to go to the sponsors's websites but only one actually lists the MSRPs. Which is a bummer because I'm trying to gauge what the average price for say a decent W/B is vs a zero degree turn. I think that we'll get a 48" W/B with one of those things that you can stand on.

Any suggestions? Do you have a brand preference? We're looking to start out on mid-size residentials but would like something that we can use on commercial also.

Was gonna look into a used mower, but you get what you pay for. If I can get what I need for $5000, I'm just gonna buy new.

I'd go turf tracer, 23 Kohler or Kaw,52 or 60" Ultracut deck, 200Lb clutch, bigger tires, bigger bearings. About 6,000Dollars This will do comertial very well.
All or most of the parts are from the lazer z. You will see in the picture that they are brother and sister.
John

Oh go into search Look up--------- To exmark------- And that will answer why you need the ultracut deck that comes on the turf tracer.

I know this is a little OT, anyone know anyone selling a decent pickup? 3/4 or 1 ton? either ford or chevy somewhere around '90-'96. Diesel or gasser. I've been tryin to find one and i keep finding jalopies, its been a discouraging search so far.

From Southington Here, We do work as far north as Windsor Locks, As far East as Norwich, down to New Haven and as west as Oxford. Go with the Exmarks you won't be sorry. Just my two cents.
