Is there an easy way to fix the starter rope on the trimmers?
We broke one today. The last time this happened I just bought a new trimmer.:D Not doing that again.

LOL!!! humor goes a long way:D
Go to your local lawn store and ask them for trimmer line starter rope. It won't cost very much. Ask them for advise on replacing the roe. Once you've done one, its easy after that. Note that backpack starter rope is heavier .

make sure to bring in a sample of the rope too, just in case they match it up wrong

ya but how much fun is that?
I just set that one aside and have been taking parts from it ever since. It's down to the engine and handle.
