Open 5*10 at this time but am working to afford a 7*16 enclosed vnose. I hate taking up all of my garage space with my open trailer.
How ever I will keep the open for hauling and other.

Solo Op - 5x8 Enclosed Trailer

Benefits of an enclosed model:

Theft Prevention
Protection from weather
Built-in billboards on 4 sides - free signage
Save on storage space rental
Can be armed with a security system
You can change clothes if you have to
etc etc etc

It's become pretty obvious to me that theft is a huge problem in this profession;much, much more than I realized. When I first started out I wasn't even considering trying to purchase an enclosed trailer but now I am...big time.

OPEN 8x12. Can get 3 mowers on it sideways. 36" Metro HP; 44 Toro Z-147; 48 Exmark Lazer. Have Trimmer-Trap TT-2 rack on front (holds 3 trimmers) with line holder and shovel rack options attached to it. WORKS GREAT for my needs.

I have a single axle 6x 12 open trailer, i like the idea of an enclosed trailer for security, weather protection , and advertising, i put my camper shell back on my truck to keep gas cans and supplies and blowers, trimmers out of the weather and out of site of a honest thief

HEY! ME too. If you find a good manufacturer, let me know. I am really interested in that side ramp thing.

I wouldn't store my mowers in an enclosed trailer if I had one, too easy to just take the whole shebang and its gone. I always take the stuff off at night and store it inside my storage area. That way if the trailer gets swiped, it's just the trailer and not all of it.

enclosed 16 ft...had no choice...township rules wont let me park in my driveway so I have to park it in one of my customers barbed wire, locked outside storage yards.. No way would I want the equipment sitting out in the weather for 12 months anyway. THe price was painful but I'm soooo glad I bought the enclosed. Dont forget, you have 4 walls on which to hang/mount things.

No lettering on the trailer, just the truck. Dont want to advertise whats inside when its parked and I'm not around. Too many mouth breathers in this business who might want to see whats inside. Negatives are: 1. they are heavy(lousy gas mileage) 2. when full, they are shin-bangers....therefore...if you buy enclosed,MAKE DARN SURE YOU BUY MORE TRLR THAN YOU THINK YOU NEED.....they arent as ez to get around in as an open trlr
