Hustler Z Bag

Looking for some direction as far as side bag for the Hustler Z 60"....I am not wanting the entire vac system... Just a side bag like Grass Gobler. All our dealer sells is the vac system.

Any suggestions.

Are you looking for Steel ? Aluminum ? or cloth ?
The cloth is available from Hustler through your dealer (part # 327718), the steel and aluminum are available through your dealer by aftermarket companies.
Here are some pics, they may not be your exact model mower but they will fit and work excellent.

Option 1
This sheet shows a catcher for the FasTrak, it is a very similar cathcer for the Z. I am sorry but I do not have a pic of the unit on the 52", 60" or 72" full size frame Z and Super Z.
This catcher would be part # 327718, and it is available from your Hustler dealer only.

A aluminum catcher made by John Gibson Design.
Available through your dealer (aftermarket) we do not manufacture this unit, but it is still a great unit.
The pics show it with optional extension also.

A aluminum catcher by Accelerator Industries (a sponsor of LS with there own forum here on LS)
Available through your dealer (aftermarket) we do not manufacture this unit, but it is still a great unit.
I believe they make an extension for these units now, although not pictured here.

I do not have pricing on these units listed in this thread.
These units are aftermarket, and offered through the dealer network you bought your mower from.
Please call your dealer for your best price.

My dealer has never heard of these bags. Do u have any info like possibly a # I could call or maybe a web address.. And do u have a number or web address for the quick chute. Thanks for all your help!

Have your dealer call his Hustler rep, he can provide him with all the info needed.
These companies sell direct to the dealer only.

Dear Pj,

I have to tell you, you probably have no choice but to simply point us to our local dealer to obtain part #'s, etc., to purchase a bag for these (I own a Hustler Z 60"), but it opens up a real can of "hurry-up-and-wait". After leaving two messages and stopping in twice, I still, after one month, have gotten nowhere in trying to buy a bag for my "Z" and the leaves keep falling! I mulch all year long but would like to bag around this time just for aesthetics. Anyway, the dealer has told me 1) these are not available, and 2) even if they were, they will not work on a deck larger than 42", and 3) the dealer just does not answer my calls. I have yet to get one model number or be on iota closer to obtaining a bag.

I stopped in again today and have been assured once again that "I'll get these numbers together for you and get back to you". zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I went through the same thing as you. I decided I wanted an Accelerator side bag and couldn't find anybody to order me one. My dealer had never even heard of them.

I ended up calling The company and spoke personally with Peter (I believe he's the owner) After telling him my troubles, he shipped me one and I had it in less than a week. Couldn't be happier with the product or service. The think is as light as a feather and held up great when I wacked a utility pole.

Check out the Accelertor forum on this site. They are by far the best catcher built for a Z. Peter will get a you a bagger. If you do not have an area dealer they will sell direct. Do a search on accelerator and you will find more than you need to know. Hope this helps.
