Converting older balancer to cone style

Hi Magna Matic,

I have an older version of the Magna1000 blade balancer with the ball that protrudes from the magnet. I always seem to have problems getting our blades to align correctly so the ball is positioned squarely in the hole of the blade. I was wondering if the newer style cone could be purchased and installed in place of the ball. I believe the cone style centering post would be a huge improvement for my balancer.

Hello Rob,

Actually the balancer you are describing is a MAG-500 - it has a limited hole size range and that is what seems to be the problem for you.

The MAG-500 and MAG-1000 are not the same balancer therefore they do not have interchangeable parts.
