I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado short bed P/U that I want to install a "hidden" strobe system in. Does anyone have any tips or recommendations on manufacturers?

e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org with your truck specs. length etc. I do all of the installe of light systems for the department i vollunteer for and have some on my truck as well as doing several chevys. i can hook you up with whelen engineering to get your stuff and can also give you a list of what all you will need.

I have a 2001 chevy 2500hd I'm having 2 strobes in front 4 strobes in the rear and an LED arrow stick in back window. We are putting in quartersized LED toggle switches in the cubby hole in the head liner. I"m also having 2 extra switches put in for future use. I'll post pics when done

Please tell me these are like construction strobes, and not gay chinese rice burner strobe things.

they are the same ones you see on fire trucks and ambulances.
i put mine on in 1997 and are now in thier 3rd truck, havent had a light or power supply go out yet.
Yea whelen makes most of the strobes and sirens out there on the ambulances. I've got Federal Signal red grille strobes on the truck and clear strobes in the side of the headlights. Clear ones are completely hidden.

just be careful what color you use. in La. you can only use Yellow or Amber. red, white, and blue are for emergency vehicles.
sorry-I forgot to mention I am a volunteer firefighter here in VT.

I bought my system 3 years ago, and it is still going strong. I have a 6 outlet 90watt power supply. I do all my own installs, and have done quite a few for friends. I have 2 red nova microthins mounted in the grill, and a set of clear hideaways mounted in the backup lights and in the front turn signals. I am also a call Firefighter/EMT. I had a dashlight but it just got in the way. Check out the link below, he has just about everything you could want.
