Has anyone got a good place to get aftermarket filters for a Kawasaki engine? For the little 19HP, a filter runs me $25 ... I'm almost scared to look into the 25HPLC. :help:

You should be able to get aftermarket filters from your dealer, stens, or rotary for example.

I have been using J. Thomas for years. Hard to beat their price and service. From time to time I will also use Jacks Small Engines as well. I do think they are slightly more expensive but they have excellent service too.

Most auto parts stores have aftermarket filters to fit most engines.

Yeah J Thomas has great prices and top notch products.. The air filter for the 23 hp Kawi is like $15.00 from them plus the wrap which is only like 3 or 4 bucks...
ALso Hastings makes alot of equimpment filters , dont know about the kawis , never checked but they make one to replace that cansiter for the walkers... SO chances are they too have them... Check with an auto parts store....

Check your local NAPA store. they carry a large line of air filters and oil filters for most small engines.

NAPA, eh ... hadn't considered them. Advance didn't have anything but now that you mention it, NAPA does have more of that kind of thing.

I buy from www.filter1.com
Six or more shipping is free. They also send you a Wix master catalog for free.
They are about half the price I pay from a dealer.
