Good price on Dixie Chopper??

This Dixie Chopper has a 23 hp Kholer. It has a 60" deck. It has 100 hrs and is in great condition. It already has gator blades. The mower has 7 months left on the basic warranty and 1 year and 7 months on the engine. The price is $6800 w/ no tax. The dealer that I am buying from says it retails for about $9000 w/ taxes. Do yall think this is a good deal?

Depends on how it was used and maintained during that 100 hours!
**Make sure that the warranty is transferable! Don't take their word for it, get it in writing!

If it is a XW2300, which means it is a Stainless Steel model, it is a good deal. 100 hours is nothing, because it's not even broken in and I've heard the 23 HP is a good engine with about as much power as the 25 HP Kohler. Let us know if you get it.

ERIC IS WRONG; if thats an XW2300, its a GREAT not GOOD deal. $9K is about right for retail and knocking over 2 grand off the price is a lot. Good advice on making sure the warranty transfers.

Oh MANNNN are you lucky to have found a deal like that!! You canNOT beat that. Just do what the others guys said and find out about the warranty and you're ready to rock! And you can't go wrong with a DC.
