I have decided against the whole holiday lighting thing. (as i posted over in the lawn care forum) There is just too much liability with electrical and/or fire damage involved from research and posts that I have read.

This is a good topic.
We decorate hundreds of homes from november up until Christmas.
I really dont make anything.
I charge my employees wages plus parts + 10%.
BUT, this keeps my guys WORKING and some money coming in, which is the whole idea. It is easier to have them doing this kind of work in the winter, than for me to lose them due to work running out.
We also come back after New Years and box the stuff back up.

I have said it before, and will say it again. It is an incredibly lucrative business if you are in the right area. Where i am from, there is a company that began hanging lights 2 weeks ago!! They work until xmas, and then take them back down again till its time for spring.
