If you can't spell any better than I can, here's a tip. Any word you're not sure of, just hit 'Mail' then 'NEW MAIL' then type in the word and hit 'SPELL CHECK.' Some guys might not post because of this problem. Help's me because I can't spell Jackk.:D

I'm starting a new winter business. Send me $1.00 per post and I'll proofread them for correct spelling, syntax, punctuation & grammar. My first edit is free: cos, It should be "supposed" in your particular question. :)

Pace, your tip was well taken. It's a shame that it seems to be optional online to be literate. I can't help but wonder where some of the posters here would be in respect to writing a contract if their computers lacked spell checkers. Maybe we're not in the spelling business, but if the literacy shown online is any indication, it's amazing that some here can survive in any business.

Now THAT is gonna mow some toes!

I will introduce every1 to chat talk (spelling not required)

Every1=everyone
BRB=Be Right Back
LOL=everyone knows that
ttyl=talk to yall later
4ever=forever
ne1=anyone
and so on...

I could go forever but the whole point of this post is that every1 knows what LOL is and that this site will be here 4ever and that ne1 can be on here. I'll ttyl.

I think everyone here knows what is being said, reguardless of the spelling. I know sometimes I get in a hurry to get my thoughts typed out and I don't always watch my spelling. Hey we are all human here!

Brl,

That was good. LOL

You would make alot of money off of me. I am not the greatest when it comes to spelling, but then again that's why they make proofreaders.

In this business I try to better myself at all times. It is a process that will take me my lifetime, but has begun.

If you are a bad speller why not try improving. Buy a dictionary and make an effort.

If my competition cant spell or communicate I could care less. Im not about to give my competition that edge.

In this forum it is easy to slack on the spelling, if so make sure to concentrate when it is needed most... with customers and employees.

Maybe if we have a National LawnSite get together, we can have a National LawnSite Spelling Bee. :) I know I wouldn't win it, but I don't think I would come in last either.

I was looking for a thread that had the word ANGLE in it, but couldn't find it, so I put in ANGEL and found it. There were 28 threads that had ANGLE spelled wrong. So basically what I'm saying here, if your looking for a thread and can't find it, try putting in some misspelled words and you might just find it. :)
