I finally broke down and ordered a new Takeuchi TB53 Zero Swing Excavator. My neighbor bought one this spring and let me use it for a day last week. That did it. I was very impressed. Great power, very well balanced. The side to side swing boom is different then the swing boom I am used to but I think will work well. The reach is outstanding. The only downside (besides the cost) is the weight 12K. I will need to buy a heavier pull behind trailer. Can't wait to put it to work.
