Is there anything that will kill bermuda out of a lawn that will not kill rye or fuscue?
I ask this question at my local Lesco Dealer earlier this year and the answer was no. Aim the round-up carefully.

Agree with Barkleymut. Works well, best to apply in the spring around here when the Bermuda is starting to green back up from the winter. Will yellow the fescue for around 10 days. Cost $$$$ ($100 a pint I think) but is worth it.

Kirby, I think you mean Barkleymut not Bob. By the way I paid about $75 at Lesco a year ago for a pint.

Turflon of Ester kills bermuda without damaging other grasses, provided you follow directios. It is expensive however.

I do not have a Fusilade lable in front of me but I believe it says suppression of Bermuda only. The rate i think is .75oz/1000.

I used fusilade II on my own yard last year and damn near destroyed it! I also think I applied too heavy. in fact I am real sure I applied too heavy.:(
anyway, my lesco rep told me 1/2 oz. per 4 gallons is the recipe. I know I applied more. he also said that at that rate you need multiple applications to control bermuda but it doesn't kill the fescue. I paid about $65/pint.
