Trailer Brake problem

After having brake problems with my 2001 18ft trailer I thought I would check the shoes. What I found was the magnets were shot and the drums were scored where the magnets make contact. I only replaced the mags, at what point should you replace the drums ?? Thanks

I'm not sure about electric brake drums, but I imagine they can be turned like the drums on your truck. I'd take them into a brake shop to see if they can turn them.

hosejockey2002 , thanks for the reply i'll look into it , i'm a little surprised they wore so fast . I didnt expect to have to worry about this every 2 years ! Shoes ok, but drums too .
