i'm gonna buy a stick edger and want to know which is best...i have a walk behind for the sidewalks- i plan to only stick edge the beds

I have an Echo 2400...hate it. I will but a shindawa or redmax next. The walk behind edger rarely comes out to play anymore.

what goes out on 'em and do they throw rocks? and which way do you walk...when i edge with the weedeater i walk backwards if needed for max power...which way walking is max power on the stick? and how fast do they wear blades?...i like to chemical edge and tap the soft edge and then do a vert, then tap 2x then chem edge w/ round-up,finale..or crossbow then grind out the dead ****...can a stick edger work?
