2500HD - brake pad replacement

Those of you with 2500HD trucks, how many miles are you putting on, before your front brake (or rear) pads need to be replaced?

My truck has 37,000 on it and I will be checking them this week and probably replacing them. I have been using the trailer brakes all year and didn't know how soft the brakes got until I put a dumper on it and started to deliver firewood.:rolleyes:
