Does anyone know where I can buy a tote(ton) or more of castings around Louisiana

I would look in y. pages under worm suppliers/ fish bait suppliers/ or something similiar.

And if in LA I would contact the crawdad growers/farmers/processors to see what kind of "by-products" they produce for potential uses.

Type in vermiculture on a search engine.

Im sure there are worm growers in that area.

Castings are great fertilizer. Up to 11 times npk. That is natural.

Im sorry. Worm castings are up to 11 times the npk of regular soil.

Also they are a good slow realease fertilizer. Will not burn plants.

Heres a pic the castings that collected on my machine form one green this fall.

THe interesting thing about the worms is that the 'bad' areas of the greens have lots of castings while the good areas have very few. And the bad areas are gradually get better, therefore less castings. THe best green has almost no castings at all.
