OK guys, what would your answer to this one be.......

Best mower for a homeowner with 3+ acres to mow, and must be in the $7,000 range or less. Would want 52" or 60". ALL major dealers are within her area.

Let's hear your recommendations and prices.

John - I wasn't aware of a new lazer....you're not talking about the CT are you? What is the price on the one you're thinking about, and deck size and motor?

Oh and the NEW tiger cub is going to be called the WILD CAT. seems the first tiger cub needed to be toughened up.

Ferris 1000 (no IS) with 61 inch deck...can do for $6100 (I have 2 of them). That's 9 bills less than the 7 grand it has to be around.

I would think that the zmaster200 with a 60 or 72 in. deck
great mower and is a zero turn radius mower great for around trees

Went shopping with the friend in question. Looked at the TANK, Husky, Kubota, Toro, Exmark, and Gravely (Exmark and Gravely were at the same dealer).

Ended up with a Gravely 252Z, 52" deck, 25hp kawasaki, for $6850. I have always run Walker, Toro, and Exmark, but was very impressed with the Gravely. A main deciding factor for my lady friend was the hydraulic deck lift, and suspension seat. It seemed like the best buy for the money.

I tried the Gravely 260Z at the Louisville EXPO, and was Very impressed!! Someone is going to have to give me an EXCELLENT deal on a different brand of mower to dissuade me from purchasing a Gravely in the spring!!
