How do I get rid of ground Bee's? We have not had any cold weather and they are still swarming. Please advise.

Hi Williams,
Here are two quotes I found at this site (http://forums.gardenweb.com/forums/load/bees/msg09222556740.html).
"Try pouring boiling water on the spot at night."
"Soapy water water drenching the ground may work as well (and many soaps are biodegradable)."

Wait until the yellowjackets quit movin' for the season ... then you won't have any worries :D
On a side note, they usually have two entrances to their hive. I would think if you applied some sort of powder for that purpose at both (or maybe even just one) of their entrances, you'd be ok.
Being as how you're in SC, I think it would be a good idea to tell you to lay off the gasoline. ;)
If you search "yellow jackets" in the mowing forum you will find some relatively recent threads that had some good discussions & links to some very informative sites. I tried the soapy water on the one I had posted about, & it did a good job on many of them. Yes, they do have a second entrance LOL
