Contract!

Hey all,
I have a large (for me) project 8k, 20 tons of stone and 1000w of light ect. I need to go collect my deposit in the next few days.

What type of contract do I use? I have contracts on all of my maint accounts but none for installs.

I dont want her to change her mind after I order everything. She sounds cool and is a maint cust, but I have had people show their bad side when you least expect it.

Any ideas?

One tiny bit of advice..Be as descriptive as you can be about the work detail in the contract. Try and cover everything you are going to do, and set up a change of work order if she wants extra stuff above the contract price.Sometimes I have to be so thorough with my contract wording, it's like I'm trying to get through to a two year old.You can never be too detail oriented.Good luck:D

Suggestion:

Installs under $10,000 - 1/2 down, bal on completion.

Over $10,000 1/3 down, 1/3 half way thru, bal on completion.

Keep the cash flow coming.
