It happened again! Maybe an administrator can figure it out. I copied and pasted the url but when I posted it asterisks came up in the link. I copied it off of the lawn and landscape site. Maybe it is some infringement on thier copyrights or something. Anybody got an answer? It worked fine when I first posted it. Maybe just put lawnandlandscape dot com where the asterisks are and it should work.

I had to use the word dot in the above post so the system wouldn't recognize it as a url and go with the asterisks again. Use a period where the word dot is.

Well, I just thought we were all in this together and didn't recognize it as tresspassing. It is very good info and everyone should read it.

Just a suggestion can you cut and copy the info into a new post?
Some would scream copyright infringment, but it is public knowledge being on the web and just admit it is not your info.
Remove all links and referances to "other forums" and post it. They may let that slide.

I thought about that, but then I figured it would probably be deleted as being an infringement on someone else and this thread has gotten to be a hassle over, basically, some nit picking. Lawnsite is an awesome source of info and much needed support and if the ownership don't want something posted here then I will go along with them. I copied it though and saved it for my own reference. Later.

I have to speak up about this thread. This is a forum, where links (if appropriate) relating to the lawn care industry and business in general should be allowed. It is pretty bad that the link gets sensored just because it is a rival or another lawn site.
It kind of takes me back to the whole scrub issue that everybody talks about. People are always saying don't worry about, just do your own business and not worry about the competition. Well, the same thing applies here. Why should you be worried about the competition...huh lawnsite???
If we ever going to make changes in this industry we all need to work together, even if it means helping out the competition. Just like when I have extra work that I can't do, I refer the customer to another descent lawn care company. Why can't you do the same?

The top/first post with website URL worked fine didn't it?
Good tips. A little to "text book" type thing. I felt like I was back in my Business Management Classes. But good none the less.
