Is anyone interested in selling out over the winter? I am looking for a turn key operation and I am ready to relocate. If you are considering it or know someone who is let me know.

I am not really planning on selling out, but it is always an option. I think you will find that there are lots that would sell if the $$ was right.
Western Colorado
30 week mowing season
Leaf Cleanup through December
Sprinkler Winterizations from October 15 until..... (this year mid November.)

My business is always for sell, if the price is right. Easy operation. Hundreds of regular clients. Excellent foreman who handles all of the labor aspects of the business. But you better have some serious dough. We grossed $500,000 this year and have grown 30-40% each year so far. I'd want some serious compensation to leave it all behind.

Are you going to use the equipment you have listed or do you need the whole operation?

Actually I sold my business last December and went to work doing something else. Now I am wanting to get back into it. Since I sold my business I will be needing equipment but I imagine it will come with the business. I am looking for something that would be about like working in Missouri only have a little longer growing season. My old business was pretty good sized I would usually clear right around $80,000 a year. I'm wanting to go somewhere were there is room to grow in mowing, landscaping, and irrigation services. Let me know more about your individual businesses you are wanting to sell.

hey Hazell, we are in Southeastern, NC right on the ocean. Ny operation has 5 trucks, 4 of which would be for sale, and is a full service firm with an excellent repuation. We are really professional, and grew 200% this year with plans to do the same or slightly more next year. We have a skid steer, J.D. tractor w/loader, 5 mowers, saws, trailers, an enclosed irrigation trailer with bins etc., brick saws, spray rig, and like I said before, one hell of a reputation, and hundreds of customers. The only reason I am thinking of selling is that I am young and want to do some traveking before I settle down.

I own a landscape company in Hawaii. We have 10 customers that pay us a total of $750,000 a year. I perform this work with only 5 laborers, all of which speak English and have CLT certificates. They come to work early and ask "Is there anything I can do for you before I go home, Mr. Norton?" I don't have any bad debts, and work 25 hours a week. My secretaries (I have 2) are Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders and handle the office when I'm gone.
Asking price is $5,000,000. Any takers?

Try Sunny Florida with year round work. Pesticide, Irrigation, Landscape Install, and Maintenance. I keep the Nursery and will remain paid employee so you can keep the licenses until you can sit for the tests. Cash Up Front, no financing.

Do you have more then the 10 customers. That's holding a lot of eggs in one basket. It would be a risky investment. $5,000,000. That $750,000 a year better be net too.

Those number Look a little Skewed to me also. However a lot of people like to tell stories on the net. Sometimes their stories and their number don't add up. However I guess it is possible to have 10 customers at $ 75,000 profit each. Just wish I could find one like That. :D :D I have to agree that would be a risky Buy out, being that a 2 to 3 customer lost is only normal for the new owner.
