I can pick up this trailer (LOL) for next to nothing. ($150)

Is it worth the trouble to fix it up witha new deck and sides?

What do you think it might cost?

7X14 frame.
Is it worth the effort and cost to fix it up? Lots of rust too!

Right there I would say no....BUT.... if you have the winter to work on it, have welding experience (heck, you might be able to learn on the trailer!), and have the raw materials (so you don't have to buy too much), it very much could be worth it.

(Plus, the picture doesn't show very much)

NO......That looks like an old camping trailer that has been cut down. The frame material looks like it is all light duty.

Now that I see the other pictures, I would say no also. In general, camping trailers are not heavy duty. They are usually built to be as lightweight as possible.

Thanks for the replies.

I have decided will spend the extra $1000.00 and a new 7X10.

Thanks again..

I agree - no! You probably spend more time and money than the things worth. Plus it might not be strong enough to handle lawn equipment.

It's new. this one is 5X91/2

My neibour builds them out of aluminum and he will be making a 6X10 for me.

The price is the same as a plain 7X10 steel frame with tube steel and no sides.

What do you think of that deal ?

It sounds like a good deal to me.
