I grew up in Somerset and I know the area very well. Some very good accounts toward Chester, Bernardsville, Mendhem, Gladstone, Ect. If you need contacts and referals, let me know. Can you do estates... 10 acres+? If you are prompt with customers, you can make a killing as most there are have poor customer service ethics. Email me @ jblaidlaw@moravian.edu

I do mostly residential and a little commercial, the commercial end is real tight around here and my focus is more providing honest, quality and reliable service but my prices are not the cheapest so I have a hard time winning commercial bids. I've been doing landscape for about 6 years, full time about 2 i guess.

As far as Walters Gardens, I don't use them often unless a customers requests something from them becuase they don't realy have a large selection and don't realy do much with contractors. I use LTD Nursery for most of my stuff.

I'm always looking for more work and would glady look into any leads you might have. I currenty do a handfull of large esates in Bernardsville and Mendham and I'm always looking for more.

If you wanna talk give me private message or email and I can give you my #. Thanks alots

I get along better with the boys at LTD than I do with Tom, I don't have anything agianst Tom and do use him occasinaly but I do most of my buisness with LTD. The problem I have with Country Mile is that thier not organized enough and it takes forever to get loaded and get what you need, at LTD i'm in and out quickly.

RE: Tom @Country Mile... He's also an onery old f***. I've seen him scream @ customers to never come into his store. Have you tried Great Swamp Greenhouses. I worked there for a couple of years. Julie has perennial knowledge second to none and their quality is very good. Maybe a bit pricey. If you go, ask for Jay and tell him I sent you over... He'll take good care of you.

Yeah John I hear ya. I guess if I did more than $100 a month with Tom, I'd probably look elsewhere. The wife gets all her little stuff from the Great swamp. It's about 10 minutes from my house.

I never have used great swamp nurseries, I realy can't say I have any reason to switch from LTD, I'm pretty loyal to my suppliers as well as my subs, and equipment dealers. Once I find one that treats me well I usually don't switch unless I have a good reason to. As far as Tom, he's realy not my favorite person to deal with, although occasionly I do buy pavers and block from him because LTD dosn't realy stock much hardscape material but I usually use Schofields Stone Center down in Bridgewater for hardscape stuff.

Brain try going to some of the local scag dealers, ask them they might have one laying around or put your name down if one ever comes about used from someone else. They usually know about people going out of business and what not, might be able to find one there. Good Luck
