Hello gang,

I am looking to get a ZTR to replace my Crapsman lawn tractor, and after getting to borrow my neighbor's 44" Z HP, I am looking to get one to cut my 3 acres. The dealer I bought my snowblower at is an Exmark dealer, and he has a 2003 model year 52" Z HP w/ 23 Kawasaki with 16 demo hours on it. He offered it to me for $7200 with full warranty. He also said I could get a 2004 52" Z HP w/ 23 Kawasaki for $7800.

Are these reasonable prices? Are there new features on the 2004 that should make me lean that way???

Thanks for the advice.

Paul

As a homeowner, there is nothing that would make you need the 2004 over the 2003.

That 2003 model ran in the neighborhood of $7400 new. 16 hours is nothing, but I would try to get him to knock off a little more on the 2003. The 2004 comes standard with the ROPS and seatbelts. No thanks for me. I am not sold on that yet.

That sounds like a normal price. But shop around there are better deals out there. I just purchased a 2003 52 LHP 23 Kohler for 6300.

My dealer has the same mower with less hours for $6600. I decided to buy his 48" demo with about 40 hrs for $5500. Your dealer should have some more room to deal on that leftover. SCOTT
