Alright guys, I know that most of you probably slack off of irrigation installations when the weather is freezing and there's snow on the ground. But I bet some of you don't. I'm wondering how you do it when the ground is frozen solid - as well as hands - and working with pvc glue is like using silly putty! And to cap it all off, once the installation is done, then you gotta blow the derned system out... or do you? So, how many Grizzly Adams are out there, and how do you manage it?

Get your Carhartts on, put the PVC glue in the truck with the heater on, get out your MAPP gas torch for the poly pipe, replace the teeth on your trencher with frost teeth or fire up the backhoe, and most importantly... STOP BEING SUCH A WUSSY ABOUT THE COLD WEATHER.

As my Dad often said to me... "Son, you ain't that smart, so you're just gonna have to be tough."
