Any one out there from the great Pacific Northwest?
It would be nice to have some local people to chat with.

Playing in the snow here in Seattle. About 3-4 inches overnight. Where are all the N.W. landscapers? Seems like kinda quite bunch compared to east coast. Go Hawks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, just found this area on the site. I'm cruising along over on Bainbridge Island.
Anyone doing work in the Queen Ann area? I have a couple of accounts I'll be dropping and would like to refer someone.

I am also in Olympia and posed a question about when you think it would be too early to begin fertilizing here. I am thinking mid March.

I heard it depends more on temperature. But March is probably a good rule 'o thumb.

My wife has been offered a job transfer to the Seattle area (Redmond). The company is willing to pay for all costs of relocating as well as doubling her salary. My question is what is the market like for LCO's say in the Marysville to Lynnwood market as well as Redmond areas.
She has not accepted the offer yet but has to respond by Oct. 1. I am trying to decide whether to sell the entire business here or keep one trailer of equipment and sell the rest, start a new business up there. Any feedback on the market and licensing requirements? Suggestions, ideas, thoughts....

I don't know much about the Lynwood or Marysville area. I service one home in Medina and another in Bellevue.
Let us know if you make the leap. I moved up here three years ago and still enjoy it. Of course, you'll need to get some good rain gear...do much mowing in the rain/drizzle/mist?
