This was the title of a thread Chuck started last year about a fish he caught. I thought it would bring back some memories to the guys that have been around for awhile. I didn't think he would ever get that picture of the fish posted. :) It is just amazing how far this forum has come since then.
Since this is my 1400th post, I figured I would bring up the past and reminisce a bit. :)
Chuck, do you still have that picture uploaded somewhere so we can see it again?

The one that should'a got away?
I remember waiting for all most a month before seeing the picture. Until I saw it it was just a fish story. :)
Now Chuck how big a charge did you use on it 2 sticks or three.

Carp were meant to be seasoned, slow roasted on a roofing shingle for over 2 hrs. Then........eat the shingle!!

Carp: cut the mud vein out, fry it just like Bass or Bluegill, flour, bread crumbs, etc.. Tastes just like any other white fish.
My mother did this to a family member that swore you could not eat carp. To this day he does not believe he ate Carp, he thinks it was Bass meat and we just told him it was Carp.
