Tried it...didn't like it. Too cumbersome.

Tried one last year, takes too much time. I can write things like phone numbers, addresses, jobs etc. much faster than turning the thing on, finding the program I want and then typing it in.

Try a digital voice recorder. I just bought my second one Saturday. Just talk into it to record anything, play it back at the office to transcribe to paper or computer, plays back 1 message at a time. If you are out and about and get a call, just repeat into the voice recorder what the client is telling you and you do not even need paper and pencil! New Sony I bought is only about 3/16" thick x 1-1/2" wide x 4" long. Only $50.

I have been using a PDA for about 3 years now and love it for my full time job.

I am part time and just now starting to use it in LCO.

Houston some of our members do the same thing, or atleast they used to as all to often they did not have access to a pen and paper when we called them with customer's details. We ended up getting around that by sending text messages to their mobile with the details.

But a great idea
