i was thinking of checking this one out as an additional machine for this season to be used in conjunction with my 26" walkbehind.

it is deff. not a commercial machine by any standards, but for my few lawns; it could be a welcomed addition.

It doesn't have independent left and right handle, you must manhandle to turn it. Would't catch me using one, backup or not. Save your money or buy a used real machine.

It is a B/S and it is under powered. Also, it is a Swisher not too bad but how good are u if you have to sell in Northern? Be very careful

Yeah 9 horse sounds pretty underpowered for a 42" machine. My 36" has a 15 horse motor.

A neighbor down the road from has one, he got it last spring, he uses it on his property mowing 8000 sq.ft. He has had tranny and belt problems. Cuts his lawn twice weekly. He got rid of it this past fall. He call it JUNK, plus more.
