Took this a few minutes ago. We have new 19 inch Dell LCD monitors for distributive control system. They are pretty nice compared to the old Baily interface sitting next to them.

I can't wait till we run out of cards for our Bailey system so we can upgrade to the new stuff. I was at our new plant in Puerto Rico last year and they had the new stuff with 3-D graphics.

I am guessing that you work at a refinery?

What do you exactly control or do there?

I control a 320 megawatt coalfired power plant.

I will not comment on this post any more since it has been moved from the "other topics" to the "commercial forums" and has nothing to do with lawn care.

Sorry I missed your replies, did this forum get moved or am I just getting old?

Pro-Yes I do know how to operate it all...all you got to do is hit the "acknowledge' and "reset" buttons. :D Ha there is a little more to it than that.

Coal, the 3d stuff sounds cool, is it Bailey too? We are going away from the Bailey interface because we can't get new hard drives for it and the rebuilt ones keep failing. We are going to be using IP21 system to interface with the Bailey modules we already have. I guess we are too cheap to buy new Bailey stuff? I work at a plant that intakes water from the Arctic Ocean and cleans it, de-oxygenates and kills any bacteria then injects it down-hole to keep the oil formation pressure up.

To the rest of you guys..HAHA good ones.

So I guess they just want this to be commercial lawn/landscape stuff?

I had always wondered about that. I mean if you keep sucking billions of barrels of oil out of the ground wouldn't that kinda leave an empty space somewhere?

I can see it now,

"George, we told you it wasn't necessary to attack Iraq , it just collasped into a sink hole".
