I've been shopping for a ZTR for my personal use? I narrowed my choice down to the Exmark ZCT. There is one dealer locally and I like them a lot but a dealer across the state line is beating their deal by about $200.
They are about $100 cheaper and sales tax is less. The difference was more but the dealer here threw in some arm rests for nothing extra.
The question is, do I drive an hour to save $200 or do I buy locally? Will I be buying trouble with the local dealer if I get the machine elsewhere?
Both machines are leftover 03 model ZCT's but the cheaper has the roll bar and the 04 style seat.
I think I just talked myself into taking a drive. I'll be using this mower about 2 hours a week and its an Exmark. I likely won't have to deal with the local guy for several years down the road.
Any other insight would be appreciated. Thanks.
