I must admit, you have gone a long way in the last couple years. You have some nice equipment building up, and a decent looking set of wheels. Keep busy! No, you will not see me commend you much, treat it like gold. :p

Thanks! I get compliments on that truck all the time even when it's dirty LOL.

BHB. sorry to hear about your truck.

I hear it's a ford.
I can't say too much I just bought 2 fords too. Course I only mean to keep them for as short a time as possible.

Why do you say that? If I remember right you're a Chevy man? how many miles can you get out of a Chevy gasoline engine? My family has 3 Ford vehicles (and a '00 Intrepid) with what many call lots of miles. They're the most reliable and dependable brand we've ever owned. None of them smoke or burn oil, etc. My truck has 192k miles and the others 202k and 220k.

BHB, those are pretty young trucks.
My Chev cube van has 340,000 on it and works like a charm. My Chev diesel has 220,000 on it and still rumbles. I just put a hoist on this truck. My Lumina mini van has 300,000 on it and still looks like new.
The ford f350 4 door has 180,000 on it and is for sale, I bought it to rob the hoisr only.
The f250 truck with dump box has 89,000 on it and was only bought to be used for one month for leaves. It' s for sale now too. These are all kilometers so they are less than your trucks.
I'm looking for a 4 door Chev diesel that I will install a hoist on.
Pretty well my whole family and my wife's family are big Chev fans, there are a couple of Chryslers too but not many. It don't really mather what you drive it has a lot to do with maintenance so keep a close eye on things. I was just yanking your chain. PS ford sucks.

Yes we expect many more miles out of them. My dad and I are very tight about maintenance. My dad runs them very easy too, he rarely gets his foot in the gas. Me and my mom like to clean the things out every now and then though ;) lol. A little story about our Fords- The Cougar my mechanic uncle rescued from junkyard destiny with a blown motor many miles ago and he put another motor in it from a junkyard car and fixed it up alittle and sold it to us cheap after someone totaled our Escort. These two cars were/are just for Dad to drive to work. We got that Cougar around 9 years ago and at the time my uncle told us it would probably only make it a couple more years, well itís still going just fine and no major breakdowns. My uncle is always surprised that that car keeps going, but he knows my dad is a maintenance freak. The van is like new in and out, it doesnít look or drive as old as it is. My trucks in pretty good shape too.
Iíd like to have your F250 if itís 4x4 but itís too far away. I am wanting to get a single rear wheel plow truck and put a dump on it for leaf removal and mulch jobs, etc.
oh by the way, chevy's stink! :p haha

BHB, it's a two wheel drive. We buy and sell stuff so it really don't matter much. I have to take some pictures of them some day soon. White cube van, orange dump truck, green mini van, orange cube van(storage only) white dump truck, canary yellow truck and a blue ford tractor. You can't call me a racist.

LOL. White, Blue, Maroon and Silver in our driveway, but ORANGE?! LOL

It's nickname is Fast Orange. A few weeks ago I was driving my diesel to work and was going a little fast through a one horse Town and the local cop pulled me over. He asked where I was going so fast and I said I was the plant manager of a local building company. He says 139kms in a 70 zone and a safety zone at that. He let me off with a "christmas" ticket. I had to deliver a load of firewood (scrap cut offs) to a local needy family. I had one of my guys load up the truck and I delivered it to the family. Now everyone calls the truck Fast Orange. The "ticket" was much cheaper that the $300 fine and a trip to the judge to explain why I need my licence.

LOL, are you plant manager there? Nice cop anyway IMHO

Yup, in our busy season I babysit 140 to 200 guys and girls. Right now I'm just pushing some snow around and playing with maintenance. I've worked here for 17 years at various jobs even spent 2 years working in Michigan baby sitting Dealers. I'll get some pics of a snow blade I made for a forklift sometime. Take a look when you have time. Time for bed, don't want to have another "ticket"
