Hi All,
Thought I would share some photos I took on the weekend.
Here's a pic of a typical Aus look, brown grass and Emu's :)

A view from the mansion over a section of their gardens
I like the emus:)
Do they run wild over there like deer do here?
Do you guys hunt emu?

I am origionally a country gal and even then I never saw that many Emu's. More kangarroo really then emu's. Right out in the scrub you see them though. This picture was taken at a "Zoo" in Werribee, Melbourne.
Oh an no croc's where I come from lol
I should hope no-one here hunts Emu. :nono:
They are not as common as deer are over there that's for sure.
Beautiful Animals really.

I would be curious how many americans have left america (not including mexico or canada). London is a short trip but I wonder how many have been.
Nice house IND.

Hope to visit Australia someday!

Oh yea right Oleo lol. It would take me a day to get to the kitchen :) And not to mention the staff needed to look after the place would send me broke lol.
Plus I much prefer a little cottage in the woods, to a mansion in the gardens! Much more cosey!

Nice pictures.
kootoomootoo,
I spent six years in Europe (Germany & England) and traveled quite a bit. LOVED IT !
There was a time when I wanted to stay overseas... They say home is where the heart is,... part of my heart stayed in Oxford & Stockholm.
But, you can take an American out of America, but you can't take America out of an American!
I do have a special place for Aussies though. I "dated" a wonderfully intelligent lady from down under while I was in Oxford.

Hey indmowing, believe it or not but my neighbor took a pic of an emu out in my front lawn area. I'd post it if I could find it. They're out here too, mate.
