Dane Super Surfer frames cracking

We had a Dane super surfer that the frame cracked were the front wheels attach to the frame after a year. Dane warrentied it no problem and put a new renforced frame.
Just wondering if anyone else had this problem

This was a widespread problem the first year the SS came out. They took care of them all under warranty.
