Yes, I have done a search....I am looking for a 32inch walk-behind with a floating deck that will go as low as 1 inch (will be used mostly on Bermuda) And can adjust height quickly and easily. Also it has to be available locally(AZ). Any help?,please and thank you!

i think your outa luck!, pull the pins on a adjustable exmark or toro, were the deck is rolling on the anti scalp rollers, maybe that will work?

I think the Exmark only goes down to 1.5", but not sure. My Walker goes down to 1", but the Exmark cuts slightly higher than this on it's lowest setting.

Do you keep the bermuda that low year round or are you going to use it for scalping at that depth?

How about using spacers to lower the blade?

That exactly what I was going to say. Set it on the lowest setting and use spacers to make up the 1/2 inch. Might have to use a longer bolt on the blade attachment

Sounds like you need a reel mower more than you do a rotary if you are looking for that short of a cut.

reel mower would be the best bet, but i hope you aren't keeping that bermuda that short thru the hottest part of the season.

Thanks for the replies. I allready have a reel mower, but its only 20 inches, no I don't keep it that low only for scalping/reseeding, just needed the ability to do it on larger yards. I usually raise up the blade as the weather warms to a maximum of 2 to 2 1/2 inches. So maybe short of the spacer idea, what's my next best option?

Maybe you should consider a used fairway mower (commercial golf unit). Taka look: http://www.smithturf.com/usedequipment.htm
