I am currently looking to purchase a new enclosed trailer. I am looking to get one that is 16' long. Do you know if a 36" metro (78" long), a 48" turf tracer (73.7" long) and a 60" lazer Z (78.5" long) will fit if pulled straight in. I know that this comes out to about 19 feet total but if i put the mowers tight, with the decks under the handles, will they fit? I currently do not have the Z so I am not sure how tight i can get it to the walkbehinds. Some of the enclosed trailers are 16'4" on the inside which should help. Thanks for any help,
Scott

How wide is the trailer? I would say almost for sure that they will all fit. Or you could just go bigger, will give you some more storage room to.

Go with a 20 ft.r.

I have a 16 x 7 enclosed trailer. You have to be creative, but it may fit. I currently have my 21" and ground blower in the front left. The 37" walk behind is in the front right. 44" lazer hp is sideways behind the blower & walk behind. The 52" lazer HP is backed in right up to the 44. I have to position the front casters sideways to close the door. We tried many configurations, but settled on this. I know the 60 Z is longer than the 52HP. Hope this helps! SCOTT

I agree with Chan...think you'll need a 20' trailer if you want to put that much equipment on it.Also, you'll most definitely need 7 feet in width.Take a tape measure with you when you make your purchase and measure from the inside of the trailer. My Lazer Z w/Ultravac BARELY fits into my 16X7 footer.Very little room to spare.Good luck.

I can fit a turf tiger and 2 48in walk behinds on a 16ft trailer with a 1ft deep box on the front (so 15ft).

It should fit (tightly) Maybe should got 18'-20'. Or spin the 36" mower sideways.

Take all the mowers and line them up on your driveway and measure it out and more than likely you are gonna need a 20 ft trailer.

Thanks to all for the posts. I'm trying to stay with the smallest trailer possible because I have some tight places to get in and out of, including parking.

I forgot to mention before that the measurements were off the exmark site and included handlebar length. The length from the metro to the back of the power unit of the turf tracer is about 113". The z is 78.5" so that puts me at 191.5". 16 feet is 192", but the trailer is actually 16'4". It will still be a tight fit, but it should manage.

I saw someones trailer on this sight (i forget who it was) that had every square inch used up. They had all John deere equipment. A z rider, 36" walk behind, 21" push mower, and all the 2 cycles, on a 12 footer. Very good use of space.

This is the BEST suggestion, and the only way to know for sure!

I get my Lazer HP and my Scag 48" WB on my 12' open trailer, but when I added the hitch to the Lazer, it added 2" to it's length....... all stil fits, but a little tighter..... My point? --> consider future uses and purchases.... will you need to get all that + a push blower (or 2) in there in the fall??
What if you trade up to a 2nd ZTR?

Is an 18' trailer available... how much more?

It should fit, though if you put bagger on the rider it may not and you would need at least 18' trailer. Also if you need room for blowers or other equipment, its nice to have little extra.
