I went to an equipment show today and brought a Toro Proline, Belt, Floating Deck, 15hp, T-Bar for $2599. I got it for a $1000 less then normal price. I have also brought a Big Tex 6.5x12 trailer. I will pick both of them up in March when my trailer comes in. BTW the trailer was $1199.

On both of them I worked the price down. Toro $3699 to $2599
Big Tex $1369 to $1199

I know Big Tex is a good trailer and I shure wouldnt knock anything about something I am not real familliar with, but is that how much a trailer from Big Tex goes for? sounds like a lot to me for that size. I recently purchased a 6 X 12 for an added crew made by a local company that makes towers for $554.00. Workmanship is real good, has new tires(not used)and wheels and 3500# axel. I had to construct the ramp/gate for it.

In my area that is normal price for the mower, and I know big tex trailers are higher, you can get a 6.5X12 with used tires in Sikeston Mo for $450.00,

Don't really know about the mower in this area, but I had a 6.5X16 trailer w/ tandem 3500# axels w/ brakes and brake controler installed for $1300. My trailer also has a rear gate along with a 48" side gate.
