What would be the best deal on a backpack blower??

01-21-2004, 09:34 PM
Which backpack blower? There are many.
If you want a good deal on one of the best backpack blowers in my opinion, look at a RedMax EB7001. A good price is around $439.00

Anykind, just looking for the best deal? I have heard some bad things about ECHO, anyone had troubles with theres?

i use echo, no problems ever. my mower dealer told me there is only one model redmax he would ever consider using. i forget if the eb7001 is the model.

What does a BP blower have to do with truck and trailers?

Run a search for backpack blowers. That will keep you busy for a while. There is tons of info.

i bought 2 redmax erb7001rh blowers and paid 479 each at bps in cols oh. i only bought them for leaves, but i like them so much that we use them all the time and my other blowers just sit and get dusty. i am going to sell my old blowers and buy two more 7001's. the only problem i have is that my one guy likes to leave them at full throttle when he shuts them off. this makes them hard to catch when you restart them. they will spin and make you look like gilligan trying to catch them.

they will spin and make you look like gilligan trying to catch them. that makes me want to find who used it last and make em use a broom

if it doesn't belong to them they don't care. you tell them to throttle down before shutting things off, they don't care and the same goes for engaging and disengaging pto's

Eric (HandEnterprises), every time you tell that story, I can picture you chasing that blower. I hope your trip back to the Buckeye was smoother (out of 4 wheel drive)lol. I was out doing donuts on the Super Z yesterday.. Can't wait to get back to cutting.. Anyway, I have to say the Redmax EB7001 is also my favorite.. worth every penny and then some.

I finally got rid of my old BR400's and now I have 3 of the 630 shindaiwa and 2 BR 420's. I also heard that the Redmaxs are the best but the dealer is no good so i decided against them. The shindy's are great and i cant wait to have all shindaiwa blowers.

Eric, that story is pretty damn funny. I laughed my butt off
picturing that.

I just got my first blower after reading all of the post here between the echo 750 and the redmax 7001. I decided on the
redmax which I love. My vote is for the Redmax
