Please vote for which logo you like best. Also if you can post which variation of the logo you like best.

I like all three, so I'm putting it in your hands.

This is what makes online communities, so great. When we are in a bind, we can just come and ask our peers for help.

I appreciate you time,
Thanks,
Soupy

The first one is excellent. Very professional. Both variations are good. Couldn't you use both, depending on the use.

One of the best I have ever seen!!

I'm working on getting the third logo resized. I had to call on our old buddy lawngodfather.

I'll be right back......

Ok, I got it resized. Thank you Instant messanger :)

The 3rd one is a little blurry now, but I think you can still get the idea.

I need to pick one Thursday (well today) sometime.

Thanks again,
Soupy

Still like the first one!!

I like the 3rd one because it does the most for making you a brand name. I love the different examples of the logo. I think if you use logo #3, you'll be noticed AND remembered.

The theme here was to try to come up with a lawn Technician. We really couldn't figure out anything. I didn't want any rakes or shovels in the picture. So we decided to come up with a grass guy and give him a clipboard as if he was ready to diagnose your lawn.

go here if you want to see all the other logos.

I agree with Jim on the 3rd one!

On the back of the shirt how ever, I would maybe put "Lawn-Tec" around the pic at the top and your cell number around the bottom. Not necessarily big but I'd have it there somewhere!

I dont like the 1st so much because its like a rip off of the green goblin.
The 2nd is too stiff for me! IMHO

All of them are good by most standards. Generally, the simpler the better!

Good luck mate.

Soupy..they're all good...but at first impression, I clearly liked 1 the best....very different, and I think your phrase is very important and stands out more in 1.

The blue green is also nice

I thought the 3rd one would get the most votes. I figured the clipboard would turn you guys off on the other two.

I agree with Jim Lewis.
The logo is eye catching and different, and I think people will remember it.
"Hey, that's the grass dude!"

I think what you want are our very "first impressions" when we looked at them...my first impression about the clipboard was...
"this company pays attention to what I'm saying and writes it down"....at least to me, it implies a professional operation

I like the third one, you will get good word of mouth just from people talking about "that truck with the grass guy on it"

I liked the 3rd one. Maybe if you could get the guy to the left or right of Lawn Tek it would be better. I like the back of the shirt. I think you will stick out and be remembered.

I like the 3rd one... it will be something that people recognize/remember... Did the people at gophergraphics do those? They are doing mine right now..

The first one is very striking and has great impact, but if you use it, I'd drop the clipboard from the image. The first thing that came to mind was that he's writing me a bill.... The third is very professional looking too. I like the ghost images on the letterhead. I've got the same thing with my letterhead at my other business. Man this is a tough one. Pick only one, and use it EVERYWHERE. You want to make sure you establish a brand image that will stick with people.

Soupy,

Great logos you got there!

I like #1 best. The blue and green half circles gives it that little bit of extra special, unique style.

I have one suggestion for you: replace that weird looking dude with the pencil in his ear with the grass blade with the glasses. I think that clipart will look much better in those two half circle than in a full circle. Break the rules - break the lines and dimensions!

Then I'll vote for #1.

Good Luck

I missed the grass blade with the glasses...agree with PC..put him with #1...very clever...I'm jealous

Expert Lawns, I feel sorry for your Wife/Girlfreind :)

Jimlewis, I value your opinion very much. I'm starting to favor the 3rd one myself. The designer just posted a sample of what the logo would look like if the artwork was on the left or right. http://www.designoutpost.com/forums/?showtopic=2554&st=75

Thanks,
Ken

The local poll went with #3 the most. So I have ended the contest and chose #3.

I took the logos out to Block Buster and asked random people what they thought. I figured it was the feedback of my local community that I needed.

I thank everyone for helping. Now you all can tell me that you think I made a mistake :)

You guys should know me by now. When it comes time to make decisions like this, I am very indecisive. :(

I do not like any of those logo's: too robotic like.;)

Yard Perfect
01-22-2004, 08:34 PM
In the first one, the man in the circle looks sort of like Greek God or something and what were your thoughts and in the third one, my first thought was that the item in the circle was a banana and again what were your thoughts. I obviously voted for #2A

Soupy
01-22-2004, 09:19 PM
greensummer, I can respect your opinion. But did you see the last logo. It is not robotic.

Yard Perfect, I had liked each logo the best at one time or another. Every-time I look at the first two, I could find things I was unsure of. I didn't have any doughts about the last logo. Banana's are good :)

They're both just awesome. The more I see that logo/design the more I just love it. I suppose I like the bottom one a little better. It has more flare to it. But they're both great.

Yes, I liked the last one too. He knew that is what I like about Mowlings, so he showed it to me after he won. This guy goes the extra mile to make sure you have the best possible logo.

Jim, keep me posted on that project you mentioned yesterday. I would like to see how it turns out for you.
