I have many 2-cycle pieces from them. My local JD dealer sells them and does the service work (but they have never had to be serviced). Great equiptment, no complaints as of yet. Been running them for two years.

I have a 23cc trimmer and 26cc stick edger of theirs that i really like. the trimmer is nice and light but has nowhere the power of my stihl fs85. the edger is a really strong lil one.

I used them when I was in business... they were light and heavy duty.... they took employee abuse also... at least half a dozen times one of the guys put the wrong gas in the tank and locked up the engine... (no oil).... I was always able to get them going again after a high RPM engine lock-up. (whew)

I have a trimmer, lightweight and under powered. I use it for a back up now.

Use the search button on this topic. I recall some negative reviews by some owners.

Correct.... this trimmer was perfect for the guys just learning how to use a trimmer... didn't want to give them a Pitt Bull to walk around the lawn with.

I have two, the first was wore out when I got it free for buying a used mower, probably 200 to 300 work hours later she fianally went. the other was bought as junk for $15 at a dealer (to get a shaft for mine after a employee ran over it) when mine blew up I got the other one running, been using it for the past year. I believe they were built to good! but very nice to run, very lite and little vibration. tryed a shindawa for a day and was not impressed. dealer has a used one like my two for $150 only used around the shop, it will be mine come spring. Few dealers left and I have heard hard to get parts for, but a solid machine.

Yes they do make Toro trimmers. I know a couple of other companies in my area that use them and absolutely love them. My local Echo dealer sells Toro trimmers and recomends them highly also.
