Early spring aeration

I'm having a problem waiting this year and need to start working.:blob3: :blob3:

For those of you who aerate in the spring, why not start in February with a early bird discount. Keep in mind this is th NW and we don't get snow ( 1 to 2 days a year around first of January ) just allot of rain. Offer $10 off for the month of Feb.

I normally do a big push in March and clean up on spring fertilizing at the same time, which would not apply to Feb.

Its only beneficial when the turf is actively growing. Why waste their money and your time if it wont get maximum benefits?

1) The roots are not absorbing anything like Mac said. The holes will fill in. When the grass leaves DO begin sucking from the roots in spring, the water, air and nutrients could be readily available right after an aeration.

2) A great oppurtunity is opened after aerating to fertilize and overseed. Right now the seed would simply rot away and the vegetation wuold not absorb your fertilizer.
