APARTMENT CONTRACT HELP PLEASE
COULS SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME THE BEST WAY TO BID ON LARGE APARTMENT BUILDINGS...I HAVE A REAL GOOD CHANCE OF GETTING A CONTRACT ON TWO VERY LARGE COMPLEXES NEXT TO EACH OTHER, BUT IM A LITTLE AFRAID OF BIDDING TOO LOW. PLEASE HELP ASAP.

First, be sure that you have adequate equipment to handle it. It can give you a black eye if you take on too much, too soon. Next, go to the locations and walk all around, not in a rush, estimating how long it will take you to do each section, then add the times together and you have the total estimated time for each property. Multiply that by your desired hourly rate and submit your bid. Be sure to include anything else they may want on the estimate like annuals, mulch, fertilizer, etc. Apartments usually have a lot of weedeating and edging, so be sure to take that into account. Depending on the shrubs, you may have a load there, too. Good luck.

THANKS ALOT CSRA FOR YOUR RESPONSE...VERY GOOD ADVISE IVE WALKED THE PROPERTIES THREE TIMES ALREADY AND IM STILL UNDECIDED BUT IM GOING TO GIVE IT A SHOT...THANKS AGAIN
