A new record here in Charlotte, the old record of 40 days without rain back in the late 1800's has been broken. It's been 41 day's and not a drop of rain, now the mountians are burning and the leaf fall is not helping. Here is a photo of Charlotte taken TODAY, the smoke from the mountians is so thick here it looks like a rainy, overcast day!

Well they are changing the photo, it's not quite that dark turing the day. :)
Looks like midnight in that picture. How are the lawns holding up?
All mine have gone dormant. Its mostly leaves
now.Everything is hardened off.Mabe cold winter.
Dry as a bone here also. Doing leaf removal is one dusty job. A little rain would be nice.

Well, just after posting this my wife called on the NExtel and said it was raining. We had a little drizzle so we'll see what happens. The lawns that have been watered or have irrigation are doing ok, the others...well...crunch crunch.
