Is the air filter the only difference on the new 15 & 17hp Kaws over last years model?

Yes and no. The air filter isn't the only difference but it is the most significant. There are other changes to shrouding, carb, some seals and in some cases displacement as well.

Looking for a good replacement air filter system for my FH500. What does it take for mine to be "significantly" better?
(so the Metro line doesn't have the 17hp option anymore? Obviously not, I didn't see any on the web site)
